Krishna's Five Star Symphony - Journey through Gitā Panchāmrit


Camp will be conducted at the ashram, and facilitated by Brni. Jyoti Ji from CM-Atlanta, Brni. Sandhya Ji from CM- Los Angeles, and Brni Sahanā Ji. They are a wealth of knowledge and children will enjoy learning from them!

Camp Activities:
  • Learn and discuss stories, their symbolisms, from trained teachers in an engaging, interactive way.

  • Yoga, meditation, and puja, to quieten the mind, connect with the divine, and gain devotion.

If children are unable to attend / join the camp for the full week or have an odd schedule due to their summer activities, please reach out to Vijaya or Trupti to discuss various options.

We invite families to celebrate children's birthdays and wedding anniversaries with the Sāyaṅkāla Śri Saraswati Pūjā/Ārati. This simple, 10-15 minute ceremony, guided by our sevaks and sevikas, is a beautiful way to instill devotion and create lasting memories.

Chinmaya Annadātās Offer a Gift of Food and Nourishment

Annadāta devotees of Chinmaya Hamsavāhini offer Prasāda Sevanam as they cheerfully welcome families to a Sāttvika bhojanam.

Annapūrṇe sadāpūrṇe śaṃkara prāṇavallabhe
jñāna vairāgya sidhyarthaṃ bhikṣāṃ dehica pārvati

Salutations, Oh Mother Annapoorna! Nourish us with this gift of food, the alms of your loving Grace, so that we may attain Dispassion, and Spiritual Knowledge.

Prasāda Sevanam: Bringing tranquility and purity to the mind.
A sāttvic meal is simple and healthy meal that nourishes and develops the body, mind, and intellect in keeping with the Scriptural teachings. To receive the Lord’s bountiful gift of food as Prasad and dedicate ourselves to His service is a most sacred Yajna. We invite you to participate in this sacred endeavor.

Prasāda Sevanam will be offered every Sunday from 11:30 am-12:45 pm at Chinmaya Hamsavāhini.

We endeavor for our children and their families to connect with one another and take advantage of a delicious, nutritious lunch before proceeding to their afternoon activities within and outside the mission.

Donation of $3/person is welcome.
***(Lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis, until it lasts) ***

Update on To-Go boxes:

*Please note: Prasāda Sevanam is intended for in-house dining only. However, for the benefit of some teachers who may need we have the arrangement of To-Go boxes. We are extending this availability to parents who have an immediate need to leave after Bala Vihar. We have a limitation in serving too many To-Go boxes, therefore the overall limit will be 20 boxes available to be given each Sunday.

To-Go boxes are available to everyone only on a weekly pre-order basis through sign up genius at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080A4DA5A82AA1FE3-44473918-cmpbalavihar. You may use this link through the end of December 2023. Orders must be placed by 6 pm each Saturday, for pick up the next day, Sunday, at 11:30 am. Dear Chinmaya Family,

Chinmaya Mission Houston (CMH), inspired and led by Acarya Pujya Darshanaben Nanavaty, has developed an App "Gita 365".

Gita 365 virtually takes Pujya Gurudeva's teachings of Holy Gita to the seeker, through 3-minute multimedia segments, where Pujya Gurudeva uplifts, enlightens, and guides the seeker's thoughts, transforming their day, one day at a time, 365 days a year.

To introduce the Gita 365 App, CMH has also developed a trailer that explains the content, the navigation and downloading of the App.

We are extremely happy, and very indebted to Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda and Pujya Swami Swaroopananda for officially launching Gita 365 on October 4, 2019.
